So the Great Repeal Bill is offensive before it even gets off the ground. More seriously, it is difficult to see, as the article notes, how it can solve problems where EU law involves mutual co-operation between Member States. Consider, for example, provisions which require court decisions in one Member State to be recognised and enforced in another. If the UK ceases to be a Member State such provisions will simply cease to bite.
